Obviously, a man of action

(perhaps that explains the blurry photos)

What happens when you mix a proud mom
with one who is trying not to embarrass her son?

Some very bad photos of a very good occasion!

Good job, Nick and thanks for serving.

They Came!!!!!

Can you believe it!?!? The Passports came in the mail today!!!

It's almost too good to be true! (We'll probably get our identities stolen in Europe.) :-P

We're one step closer!

From this week's Catholic Spirit:

The women's college mined 11 of the 76 graduates at the all-girls high school to enroll in the 2007-08 fall semester.

Sound familiar?

From Danielle Bean:

Well, tonight was my night, people. That's right. Tonight, I found a comb after my shower. And get this — it was sitting right there on the bathroom counter in plain view!

One Step Nearer ...

It's neat. It matches. It's organized. It conveys a sense of hierarchy.
I never thought I'd live to see it
(unless somehow I was responsible for the ladder work).
When I noticed it this evening, Teacher Training was just about to begin, and I'm doing a double take with dropped jaw. (Matt kept whispering "what's wrong?")
What a great ending to the day!

UPDATE: I did talk to kindred-spirit guy who said he appreciated my thank you note immensely and showed it to #3 on the hierarchy up there. They decided to save it because they tend to get more notes of complaint than notes of appreciation. Who would have guessed I'd be on the charitable side of this issue?
